Trek Direct is managed by Sean Wilyman who has travelled extensively throughout South Africa.

He is a certified tour guide and subsequently has a strong knowledge of the Western Cape, Durban, Kruger Park, and the Natal countryside. His love of wildlife takes him back to the National Parks on a regular basis. Having obtained a degree at Stellenbosch University he is also well acquainted with that town and the Cape Winelands.

Sean is a keen sports fan having played cricket and rugby for his school, and he enjoys extreme sports – bungy jumping , shark cage diving etc.

He is assisted by his father, Kevin, who has spent time travelling throughout eastern, central and southern Africa. Kevin runs a volunteer project in Mandela Park township which involves coaching sport and supplementing the education of the township kids.

The aim of Trek Direct is to share with you our personal love of Africa.

Kevin recently organised and lead an overland tour to Namibia, the highlights of which included a trip through the Namib Desert (scene of Mad Max movies), Damaraland -where they interacted with the desert elephants, Etosha Pan Game Park and a visit to the "Bavarian" town of Swakopmond.

Sean travelled to the Okavango Delta where he spent time in the frontier town of Maun before heading into the Moremi Game Reserve. An unbelievable experience was had by all with some close interactions with the "big game" of the park.

They then moved onto Chobe River where they spent time in the world famous Savuti Park - home to Africas largest concentration of elephants, as well as taking boat rides down the Zambesi, and trips to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe
